Excavator Operation: 6 Tips For Leveling

Mar 24, 2020

1. Make a mark as a reference point

If you can see several things on the ground on the same level, you should make a mark and use them as reference points in peacetime.

2. Remember not to be greedy in peacetime

When the excavator is leveled, you ca n’t be greedy. You have to pay attention to it. The old driver ’s leveling is rarely extended, because it ’s difficult to coordinate when the arm is retracted. The line oscillates back and forth, stretches one or two buckets forward over the vertical line, and one bucket far away after closing the vertical line.

3. Use front, left and right reference standards

In leveling, you must learn to use the front, left, and right reference standards, and stretch straight forward. Fifty centimeters are collected against the plane you have found, and the plane you have found is also used as a reference template for the back. Use these fifty centimeters. Raise the forearm and the forearm to level the soil behind. The left and right sides are horizontal, and the first bucket is also used as a sample. When looking for the second bucket, two bucket teeth are exposed to press the flat surface of the first bucket. Look at the height of the two buckets and slowly flatten them. The bucket has two tooth marks that are overlapping.

4. To level the excavator, first level it.

The excavator itself must be level. If you are not level, it is difficult for you to find a level. After finding a section, place the bucket on the surface and swing it around. Do not move the boom. If the excavator is flat, the left and right swing are also flat.

5. Check for any errors in time when leveling

To adjust the error in time, generally it is not high or low on the excavator. This is a phenomenon that everyone will have. So after you have looked for a paragraph or two, take a look first. Adjust it again. Some people have good self-adjusting habits for visual errors, and some do n’t, so check them out more.

6. Make reasonable use of surrounding reference objects as standards

It is also more useful to learn to use the surrounding reference objects as the standard. You do n’t have to set the reference point yourself. You should not find it too wide when you usually find it. You also need to look at the terrain to determine where it starts. See more, think more, and plan before you do.
