How To Save Fuel When The Loader Is Working

Jun 17, 2021

Loaders are large-scale mechanical equipment and consume a lot of fuel. Therefore, you must pay attention to operating skills in daily work to effectively save fuel. What are we doing

??Reasonable selection of gears. The loader bucket is inserted into the material pile. When the material is peeled off, the insertion resistance is large. In the shovel loading process, select I gear, and use a relatively small throttle to complete the shovel loading. The throttle opening is small and the diesel engine speed is low, which not only reduces fuel consumption, but also reduces the flow and overflow loss of the hydraulic system of the working device, thereby further reducing the fuel consumption of the diesel engine.

??Avoid torque converter stall. When the loader bucket is inserted into the pile and peeled off the material, it may be difficult to insert and peel off because the material is hard. Even if the diesel engine throttle is increased, the forward speed of the loader is still zero. This phenomenon is called torque converter stall. When the torque converter is turned off, the diesel engine's fuel consumption is very high. The energy produced by the diesel engine is absorbed by the torque converter and converted into heat, which is dissipated into the atmosphere through the torque converter oil radiator. At this time, the loader's working efficiency is zero.

??With the organic cooperation of lifting and rotating the bucket control lever, the general shoveling process of the loader is to place the bucket flat on the ground and drive smoothly to the pile. When the bucket parallel shovel encounters the resistance of the material pile, it should follow the principle of raising the arm first and then retracting the bucket, which can effectively avoid the resistance at the bottom of the bucket and give full play to the greater digging force.
