Measurement Of Rotational Performance Of Kobelco SK250-8 Excavator

1. Rotation speed

Measurement purpose: To measure the rotation time of Kobelco excavators to determine the performance between the hydraulic pump and the rotation motor of the rotation transmission system.

Measurement conditions: The hydraulic oil temperature is 45~55℃, the excavator is parked on a flat, level and solid ground, and the engine is idling at high speed.

To prepare to empty the bucket, the forearm cylinder is fully retracted (maximum working radius) or the forearm cylinder is fully extended (minimum working radius).

Measurement: When measuring, pull the rotating control rod to the end (full stroke) and rotate the machine, measure the time required for two revolutions (excluding the first revolution), and calculate the time required for one revolution.

2. Rotating braking performance

Measurement purpose: To determine the performance of braking torque by rotating the safety valve.

Measurement conditions: The hydraulic oil temperature is 45~55℃, the excavator should be parked on a flat, level and solid ground during measurement, and the engine should be idling at high speed.

Measurement preparation:

①When the bucket is emptied, the forearm cylinder is retracted to the maximum and the bucket is used for excavation, keep the bottom of the bucket and the tip of the bucket tooth at the same level, and maintain a height of 1.5m with the ground.

② Mark the outer circumference of the rotating bearing on the upper car body side and the crawler frame side, and set up two marking rods at the front and rear ends of the marked extension line.

measuring:

①When operating at normal rotation speed, turn the control lever to the neutral position at the position of the mark lever, and the machine stops rotating at this time.

②When the upper rotating body stops, use the offset between the mark made on the rotating gear ring and the circumference of the rotating gear ring to calculate the rotation offset angle by the following formula.

3. Rotary parking brake performance

Measurement purpose: to determine the mechanical performance of the rotary parking brake installed inside the rotary motor.

Measurement conditions: During measurement, the excavator should be parked on a slope with a slope of 1/5 (about 12°), park the machine at a right angle to the slope at a height of 1.5m, and the bottom of the bucket and the end of the bucket teeth should be kept level, and the digging should be empty. The bucket and the forearm cylinder are recovered to the maximum extent and ready for bucket excavation.

Preparation for measurement: Place the measuring angle on the track plate and ensure that the angle is above 12°. Mark the outer ring gear and the inner ring gear.

Measurement: 5min after the engine is stopped, measure the movement distance of the mark.

Rotary parking brake performance should meet the numerical value.

4. Rotary motor fuel consumption rate

Measurement purpose: to measure the fuel consumption rate of the rotating motor and determine its performance.

Measurement conditions: The hydraulic oil temperature is 45~55℃, and the engine should be idling at high speed.

ready:

① The engine stops.

②Release the internal pressure of the hydraulic system.

③Remove the connection of the oil delivery hose of the rotating motor back into the hydraulic oil tank and put the oil into the container.

④ Put a plug in the fuel tank.

Measurement: at the position of the rotating brake pin.

①Start the engine and lean the side of the bucket against the inner side of the left or right track shoe.

② Make the rotating motor move to full stroke in the rotating state.

③Place a container to receive the oil discharged by the rotating motor at full speed for 30s. The amount of oil discharged should meet the standard.
