(1) Precautions when installing the accelerator brake
①The winding direction of the accelerator cable on the pulley should be changed according to the machine type, because there are two prescribed installation methods for the accelerator brake. When replacing the accelerator brake, you should prepare compatible replacement parts.

Use compatible accelerator brakes. If incompatible accessories are used, the APC100 system will not work properly and the motor may be burned out.
②When connecting the cable of the accelerator brake, the switch of the starter must be in the "OFF" position and the engine must be stopped.
If the starter switch is in the "ON" position, the time to adjust the accelerator brake will increase
(2) Install the pulley to the engine fuel injection fountain
Install the pulley to the adjuster lever on the engine fuel injection pump, and the arrow on the pulley is upward.
(3) Install accelerator brake
Install the accelerator brake on the splint with the drain hose down.
(4) Adjust the high idle position of the pulley
Rotate the pulley counterclockwise until the adjuster lever stops at the high idle position. Install the pulley in the high idle position through the roller hook
(5) After installing the cable on the accelerator end to the pulley and fixing the pulley at the high idle position
. Install the cable on the accelerator end into the cable groove on the fuel injection pump.
(6) Fixed accelerator end cable
①Tighten the cable clamp plate at the accelerator end. Pay attention to adjust the cable so that it is not too loose or too tight, you can pull the cable diagonally
②Remove the fixed roller hook of the lower pulley. If the pulley rewinds to the low idle direction, tighten the tension adjusting nut to the position of the adjusting pulley until the adjuster lever lightly touches the stopper. Then turn the tension adjusting nut one turn to increase the tension of the cable, and then tighten the lock nut to the specified torque 333N·m. This will fix the cable to the splint.
[Caution] When installing the cable at the accelerator end, do not make the tension too large, so as not to overtighten it and cause the following hazards
① When under the control of the accelerator (the accelerator backup switch UP/DOWN is in the manual position), the driving motor will overrun and burn out due to excessive tension.
②Even if the APC100 system is normal, the engine speed control function cannot work due to excessive tension
(7) Install the engine stop end cable
Install the engine stop end cable to the specified point of the pulley. Then, pull the cable from the engine stop end to the accelerator end cable
The opposite steering wheel is wound on the pulley.
(8) Fix the cable at the engine stop end.
Pull the wire at the engine stop until the wire is no longer slack and install it on the clamping plate. Pay attention to adjusting the cable to ensure that the cable is not too loose or too tight, so that the diagonal cable can be pulled freely.
Loosen the adjusting nut one and a half turns, and then tighten the lock nut with the specified tightening torque, fix the cable to the clamping plate and install the engine stop cable with proper tension. If the tension is incorrect, the following will happen
①The cable is too tight, and the engine cannot turn or the engine stops at the low idle position (on the accelerator knob). ②The engine cannot be stopped if the tension is not enough.
